European Parliament Elections 2024

The European Parliament elections will be held on June 6th, 2024. The Members of the European Parliament are elected by the residents of the European Union. 

Do you live in the Netherlands and are you a national of another EU country? Then you can choose whether you vote in the Netherlands for the Dutch members of the European Parliament or in the EU country of which you are a national.

Who can I vote for?

If you vote in the Netherlands, you elect the Dutch members of the European Parliament.

Can I vote in the Netherlands as a non-Dutch EU citizen?

Yes, that's possible. You must register with the municipality where you live. You do this by completing and sending form Y 32. Also send a copy of your valid passport or driver's license.
There are instructions for the Y 32 form in English, German, French, Spanish, Italian and Polish.

The form must be received by us no later than April 23, 2024.

Do you live in the municipality of Arnhem? Send the completed form Y 32 and a copy of your valid passport or driving license to the following postal address:

You don't have to stick a stamp on yourself.

Online registration

You can also register online by filling out the online application form. This form is only available in Dutch.

Can I vote in the EU country of which I am a national?

Do you want to vote in the EU country of which you are a national? Please contact your embassy to ask about the procedure for voting. You will then receive a voting card from the country of your nationality.
