Legalisation of signature

When you have to prove that your signature on a document is really yours, you can legalise it.

This means that you will sign the document in the presence of a civil servant. The civil servant will place a stamp on the document to validate that it is really your signature.

Please note: legalisation only proves that your signature is real. It has no relation to the content of the document or completed form.

Appointment

You need to schedule an appointment for the legalisation of a signature. You will have to visit the counter of the Civil Affairs Department in person, with your proof of identity and the document you wish to sign.
