An excerpt from the Municipal Personal Records Database (BRP) is an official declaration that you are registered with the municipality of Arnhem.
It contains your name, address, place of birth, date of birth and possibly some additional information. You need an excerpt from the Municipal Personal Records Database if you want to register for a residence or for a marriage or divorce, for example.

You can request an excerpt online with your DigiD account, which will save you € 5.10. You will receive your excerpt by mail within 3 workdays.

In person or in writing: € 11.80

- Your child who is younger than 18 years and lives at the same address as you
- Someone who has authorised you

International excerpt
An international excerpt is available in English, French, German, Spanish, Italian and Turkish. You can only request an international excerpt in in person at the counter. First you'll need to schedule an appointment.
